Comic-Con 2018's DC Universe Titans Trailer: F*** Batman

4 monthes ago   |   By GameSpot

The start of Comic-Con 2018 has brought with it the first trailer for the DC Universe original series Titans -a live-action take on Teen Titans -and it's most definitely not what you were expecting. Without the constraints of network TV, DC is going dark with this show. How dark? As you can see in the teaser trailer below, Dick Grayson doesn't have the same hangups with killing bad guys that his mentor Bruce Wayne did. In the midst of crashing skulls and snapping necks, he offers a simple "F*** Batman," when told the Dark Knight would handle things differently. As the trailer shows, Dick...

A live-action Teen Titans show has been in development for a while now, bouncing from TNT and being on developmental hiatus until DC finally decided to put it on DC Universe, the publisher's streaming service. Today, we got a first taste of what that show, called Titans , looks like with a debut trailer.
There's a lot of blood, angst, and a big FU to the Caped Crusader himself. You can watch the whole thing here:
No word on when the show will release yet but we're sure Teen Titan fans have strong opinions about the gritty tone of this show given the franchise's reputation for being wacky...

Today at San Diego Comic-Con, DC announced that its streaming service, DC Universe, will launch this fall, and the company has released a trailer for its slate of forthcoming live-action shows for the platform. Robin gets dark in the first trailer for DC's live-action show Titans

4 monthes ago   |   By The Verge

DC has unveiled the first look at its upcoming live-action TV show Titans, and it's dark. If you've ever wanted to hear Robin say “Fuck Batman” before taking out a group of street-level thugs, this will be the show for you.
The show is a darker take on DC's superhero team, Teen Titans. The trailer introduces us to Raven , a haunted girl who reaches out to detective Dick Grayson for help. Grayson is a former circus performer who lost his parents as a child and moonlights as Robin, Batman's famed sidekick. We also get a couple shots of Beast Boy and Starfire in action.
This isn't Teen Titans...

Surprisingly Brutal Trailer For DC Universe's TITANS

4 monthes ago   |   By GeekTyrant

The first trailer for DC Universe's Titans has been unleashed and it is a lot darker, hardcore, and brutal than I thought it would be. On top of the violence and blood that we see, Robin drops the F-bomb when he says. "Fuck Batman." This series is definitely going to explore the darker side of the DC universe. I'm not completely sold on the series with this first trailer, but I'll still give the show a shot. Titans is being created by Akiva Goldsman , and DC Entertainment's Geoff Johns and Greg Berlanti. This is the previously released synopsis: Titans follows a group of young soon-to-be...
